As holidays draw near, most of us think about family traditions and delicious feasts. For some though, the holidays mean an even bigger struggle to provide for their loved ones and they haven’t the means to provide special meals for their children.
Each year thoughtful PAC employees donate food items to fill large baskets for several families at the Guardian Angel Childcare Center. Each basket is filled to overflowing with milk, bread, orange juice, canned goods, non-perishables, and other food items as well as personal care and cleaning supplies. PAC provides a complete cooked Thanksgiving Dinner complete with Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls and pumpkin pie to each family. Thanks-For-Giving is a favorite time of year at Precision AirConvey with employees cheerfully helping to provide for those less fortunate.
The PAC basket delivery team had more volunteers than needed this year! Employees, many accompanied by their children, were happy to meet bright and early on Thanksgiving morning to pick up the meals and food baskets to be distributed to each of the deserving families.
Guardian Angel Childcare is run by the Ministry of Caring out of Wilmington Delaware. Sister Kathleen at Guardian Angel Childcare thoughtfully provides PAC with the names and details for each of the families served.
