Precision AirConvey is collaborating with One Warm Coat to collect new or gently-used coats, free of holes or stains, to be distributed to those in need.
The mission of One Warm Coat is to provide free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability.
Coats can be dropped off at 465 Corporate Blvd. in Newark, Delaware, January 9 – 20, 2023 during regular business hours. There is a collection bin in the front vestibule. Alternately, individuals may choose to donate financially through our DRIVE PAGE, with each dollar donated providing warmth for one child or adult. Charitable donation receipts for tax purposes are available upon request.

According to the National Center for Homeless Education, 1.5 million public school students in the United States experienced homelessness over the course of a school year, and 1 in 6 children in the country are living in poverty. Additionally, 7.3 million families are struggling with poverty, and the pandemic has increased this number by 4%. These families are at higher risk of becoming homeless, and the winter months can put even more strain on their finances. 7% of the 1.5 million veterans living in poverty are at risk of homelessness, and 25 million seniors are living in poverty and may lack the means to afford necessities like rent, food, utilities, and medication. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development reports that, on a single night in 2021, 326,000 people were experiencing homelessness, though this number is likely to be underestimated.

Donating is easy, tax-deductible, and environmentally sustainable. In the past 30 years coats donated to One Warm Coat have warmed 7.3 million people and kept 18 million + pounds of textile out of landfills.
